#32 Spring has sprung, or has it?

studio living- planter-spring 2015studio living- hydrangea

As you can imagine, “The Shire” is so much more magical in the springtime! Even thestudio-peach tree spring 2015 Hydrangea are blooming already! Well, actually, truth be told (and a little tip given), those are fake Hydrangea my landlord uses until the real deal arrives–pretty good, right? I will say, and understandably so, I was a little disappointed (you could say a bit thrown off) the first time I went to gather a bouquet for Studio K…

Note: The photo with all the blue sky includes blossoms from the neighbor’s peach tree. HOME: studio living post  “#19–A breach of the best kind” addresses these little flowers of promise.

Inspired by creation

“You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For you created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”
Revelation 4:11

To think this same holy God desires to be in a close relationship with His Creation as a Father and a Friend. My heart is best expressed with what King David says in Psalm 139:6, “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!”

#23 Christmas in The Shire- Scenes of Red and Green

Truth be told so I stay on Santa’s “Nice List” (pretty sure I’m there?), these photos were of last year’s Christmas decor. Everything will look the same this season. So not counting the festive vibe on my porch, The Shire is pretty much good to go for December 2013.

#22 Reflecting on my seasons with thankfulness…

The planter on my porch reminds me of different memories from this past year. And my strawberry plant in all its fruitful glory points to the last month of this year to be celebrated–Christmas.
